We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include sending postal mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purpose.

Tempur Sealy complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) as set forth by The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from Canadian Citizens, European Union member countries and Switzerland. Tempur Sealy has certified that it adheres to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement.

Protection of Sealy, Inc., and others

We release personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Sealy, Inc., our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
